Simon Howarth
With over 30 years' experience as a senior leader in global manufacturing organisations, I bring deep, real-world insight into the challenges faced by today's business leaders. I believe that people and organisations have far greater untapped potential than they often realise, and that when progress stalls, simply working harder is rarely the answer.
As a coach and mediator, I help individuals, leaders, and teams move forward when they feel they are struggling to make progress, not performing to their best or caught in conflict, by helping them move from a position of certainty to an attitude of curiosity.
Having personally experienced the power of coaching, and having coached others throughout my career, I have seen first-hand the transformational impact it can have — not only on individuals, but on the organisations they lead.
I also bring extensive company mediation experience, helping resolve everything from interpersonal conflict to complex strategic and industrial relations challenges. My own participation as a party in a mediated dispute and a large number of other company legal proceedings, have cemented my strong belief in the mediation process as a means to facilitate constructive dialogue and effective decision-making, accelerating the path to resolution while preserving long-term business relationships and saving significant time and money.
Known for a calm, supportive, and practical approach, I am recognised for getting the best out of people, building high-performing teams, and breaking complex challenges into clear, actionable steps. Combining professional credibility with empathy and curiosity, I help clients find new perspectives, make confident decisions, and move forward with clarity and purpose.
I live with my wife, Dawn, in the beautiful Ribble Valley where we are in the process of completing a lengthy (6 years!) renovation of our home. In my spare time I enjoy distance running, amateur motorsport, cycling and skiing.
